A very positive development in the Dutch financial sector is an initiative called FIER: Financial Institutions Enhancing Responsibility. Anita and Leo participated in a meeting with 40 younger bankers from 10 Dutch banks and 20 non-bankers, critical minds and ngo's. FIER focuses on 4 principles: (translated) 'Sustainable, Clear, Serving and Diverse'.
NextLevelORM added 'triple I' underlying principles: 'Interconnectedness, Inclusiveness and Integrity' will allow for fundamental change in the financial industry's culture, will fuel the desired behaviour and restore confidence. Read more

Anita and Leo discussed with the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) in Amsterdam the NextLevelORM methodology to develop a culture that sustains Operational Risk Management. A unique process and patented webbased technology allow for visualizing and measuring risk related perceptions, drives and values that are at the source of decisions, actions and other behaviour.
DNB is positive about our approach and expressed that the sector may benefit in their efforts to develop a risk aware culture. DNB schedules to assess cultural aspects as from next year.
